The final home-and-away hit-out is in the books, and this week on Attempted Murder, the evidence is pretty damning — Tex Walker was absolutely cooking!
Leroy and Ray are back in the interrogation room to examine Tex’s final regular-season performance, what makes him so bloody good when the heat is on, and whether the great man has more than one  big case to solve.
But now the regular season is officially closed, the real investigation begins…
FINALS.
For the second year running, the Crows are heading into September, and the question is simple: can this case finally be closed with the ultimate piece of evidence — a Premiership?
We’ll break down where the Crows sit, who we’re likely to face, what has to go right, and whether this team has what it takes to survive the biggest crime scene of them all.
The evidence has been collected. The witnesses are ready. The finals file is officially OPEN.

The decision to leave Tex Walker out of the side was the call from the Crows coach — and after another costly loss, Leroy and Ray are asking whether the motivation the team needed was sitting right there on the sidelines.
Fresh off the crime scene against top-of-the-table Freo, the Crows have been left to pick through the evidence as Fremantle continue to look like serious contenders for their first-ever Premiership.
Was leaving Tex out the fatal error?Did the selection call hand Freo the advantage? And is Matthew Nicks about to find himself at the centre of the investigation?
Leroy and Ray sift through the evidence, interrogate the decision-making and examine exactly what went wrong at the scene.

Crime Scene Investigators have finally been granted access to Adelaide Oval after what can only be described as a Triple Homicide at the hands of the Magpies. The evidence is scattered everywhere, and this week we're dusting for fingerprints to work out exactly where the game was lost.
But the investigation starts well before the opening bounce. What crimes were committed before the siren even sounded? We'll examine the behavior of SOME (and we stress SOME) Adelaide supporters whose attempts to rattle the opposition may have crossed the line and ask whether it helped... or simply backfired.
Then the case file takes a more enjoyable turn as we assemble the Greatest Crows 23 of All Time. Who makes the squad? Who's unlucky to miss out? And which selections are guaranteed to cause a heated interrogation among the faithful?
The evidence is in. The witness statements have been collected. Now it's time to reopen the case.

This Week’s “Attempted Murder” – The Brotherhood
The case file is thick this week, folks. We open with a full forensic breakdown of the Crows’ takedown of the Swans — every clue, every move, every alibi examined. Then, we interrogate the controversial suspension of one of our key hitmen up forward, dissecting the evidence and questioning the tribunal’s verdict.
Next, we profile our next “persons of interest” — the Collingwood Magpies — and map out the game plan for the looming showdown. And just when you think the investigation’s wrapping up, Leroy drops a HUGE bombshell that may get him infront of more key witnesses in one foul swoop.
Lock the doors, dust for fingerprints, and join the gang as we crack open another week in the ongoing case of the Crows’ premiership hunt.

The case file has taken a dramatic turn...
The Adelaide Crows have left the Gold Coast crime scene with a convincing victory, and detectives Leroy & Ray are back in the interrogation room piecing together all the evidence.
Our prime suspect? Taylor Walker's 700th goal. The entire squad appeared convinced the milestone had already been met on Saturday night, with celebrations ready to go. But the veteran himself never bought into the false confession. Turns out Tex knew there was still one more piece of evidence to collect. The case remains open... with Goal No. 700 now under heavy surveillance.
We'll examine the witness statements from a dominant performance against the Suns, review the fingerprints left all over the contest, and ask whether this football club has officially become a serious premiership suspect.
Then we pack up the investigation files and head to Sydney, where another dangerous assignment awaits under Friday night lights. Can the Crows avoid becoming the victims, or will they leave another crime scene with four premiership points safely locked away in the evidence locker?
The investigation continues...

ATTEMPTED MURDER – Episode 19: "The West Coast Case File"
Another week, another case.
The detectives have reviewed the evidence from the West Coast incident, and while the Crows escaped the scene with four premiership points, the CCTV footage suggests it wasn't exactly a clean getaway. Plenty of unanswered questions remain, and the investigation is far from closed.
Fortunately, our network of eye witnesses has come through with fresh audio evidence. Their statements may just strengthen the brief we're building as we prosecute the case for an Adelaide premiership in 2026.
Meanwhile, serial offender Hot Pies 45 has resurfaced with yet another musical confession. After a brief forensic examination, detectives unanimously agree to file it under "Exhibit A: Rejected."
With the Gold Coast preparing to enter Adelaide Oval, the taskforce turns its attention to the next suspect. What evidence do the Suns bring? Where are the weak links? And how can the Crows make sure this weekend's case is wrapped up long before the final siren?
The evidence board is full. The suspects have been identified.
Now it's time to build the case.

Case File #15 has landed on the detective's desk, and this one's a tough read.
The investigation begins with the scene of the crime at the hands of Port Adelaide. Detectives are still trying to work out how suspect Z. Butters managed to roam the crime scene unchecked like a lost dog without a single officer assigned to contain him.
Meanwhile, headquarters has been flooded with Missing Persons Reports after a worrying number of Crows failed to appear when the heat was on. Last seen: somewhere around Adelaide Oval.
Elsewhere, we've issued a public appeal to the self-proclaimed Nicks Haters. Funny thing... ever since we invited them to step up to the microphone and present their evidence, they've gone strangely quiet. Investigation ongoing.
Then we reopen one of football's most famous cold cases—the 1997 Mark of the Year. Our detectives track down the man with arguably the best seat in the house that day... the bloke behind the goal sticks who watched Tony Modra take flight from just meters away. His eyewitness testimony is finally entered into the evidence.
The evidence board is full. The suspects are lined up. The interrogation room is ready.
Welcome to Attempted Murder... where every week we investigate the crimes committed against Football.

Episode 17 is now under investigation.
This week on Attempted Murder, detectives Leroy and Ray (The Gnome) examine the crime scene following Adelaide's HUGE win over the Dees. Just when the experts had written us off, the Crows flipped the script and left the doubters scrambling for an alibi.
Our key witnesses are then called to the stand to share their favorite memories of the great Tony Modra. From impossible marks to moments of pure magic, we reopen the Modra files and celebrate a man who left fingerprints all over Adelaide football history.
Plus, one witness openly questions our ability as a team. Bold move. But after reviewing the evidence, cross-examining the facts and producing a few exhibits of our own, we think you'll agree the case for Attempted Murder has never been stronger.
The evidence is overwhelming. The suspects are passionate and the Crows are starting to look seriously dangerous.
Case closed? Not a chance.
